PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  Size: Miniature Highland cows generally stand between 36-48 inches tall at the shoulder, with mature cows weighing around 500-700 pounds and bulls around 800-1,000 pounds. Full-sized Highlands are usually much larger, weighing between 1,000 to 1,800 pounds.
